From the reviews

I have been getting deep tissue massage every 2-3 weeks from Lesley for over a year. I really appreciate the trusting and relaxed atmosphere she has created in her space. Lesley is both kind and professional, and has a terrific knowledge of the body.

★★★★★ — Mara, Sep 2014

I've been going to Lesley for six or more years. She is the only person who knows how to work the muscles in the human body and can work out all those tight muscles from ice skating, dance, or any other athletic pursuit I've tried. I've tried others but always go back to Lesley.

Leslie is absolutely amazing!! She is an expert and ensures that she provides a unique experience that caters to your needs. She also provides a relaxing and calm environment which truly helps you be at ease. I highly recommend!!!

★★★★★ — April, Apr 2019

To put it simply but boldly: Lesley knows her stuff. She's my regular massage therapist, the one I rely on. I have sports, surgical, and repetitive stress injuries and she is highly qualified to work with me on their repercussions in my body.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
