From the reviews
A pickle ball hip injury led me to Mark Perez. I have always been an atheletic person but I have struggled with unexplained back pain for decades. I have been to a plethora of pain management doctors, chiropractors, acupunturists, massage therapists and physical therapists. Through the years I also had X rays and MRIs.
Mark is amazing! What I love most about working with him is that he listens, earnestly works with me to find a solution, and gives honest recommendations. As a contortionist, competitive pole dancer and instructor, and lifetime athlete caring for my body is top priority.
Mark is amazing. I had been to other physical therapists for my shoulder who said it was impinged, walked me through exercises for six weeks, and then sent me on my way to continue them at home.
I can’t say enough good things about Mark. He is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Almost my whole family has seen him for injuries. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
