Somehow, I injured my hip flexor in April. I tried massage, PT, Cupping the pain did not go away. My orthopedist gave me a cortisone shot in my hip which eliminated some pain it did not fix it. After not being able to work on my feet more than 5 hours before the pain was unbearable.
Before seeing Dr. Phan, I had battled chronic acne for years, trying everything with no real success. I was honestly skeptical about acupuncture, but I was desperate for a solution. From my very first visit, Dr. Phan made me feel completely at ease.
My husband and I both go to doctor Phan. We have seen great Improvement. I had sciatica, which is now gone. Bill's back and thigh pain has greatly gotten better. Would definitely recommend this office. They are very friendly and thorough.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
