Keith is pretty much saving my life. It sounds extreme but when I first came to see Keith, I was wheelchair-bound for walks (or for short distances I used a walking cane) after having surgery to remove a tumor from my hip joint. 2 years post-surgery and I was told I would be permanently disabled by 2 specialists.
Keith, the owner, is great at straightening you out. If I had to give a quick overview I'd say he checks to see if you're aligned, like a chiropractor. Unlike a chiropractor he will use your own body (muscles) to put you back in position so it's much gentler and you don't have to worry about the fast twisting some…
The only person I trust with my bodies physical operational health...Mr. Keith Ortiz is the greatest in his field, bar none.
Dr. Keith Ortiz is great. Give him a call for any pain you might have! I have already referred all my friends to him.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
