I’ve had a lymphatic drainage massage and cupping done here, both by Summer, and it was amazing. Great massages, nice atmosphere, clean, and friendly. They have a lot of options open for appointments and you can add on extras when you get there. Prices are very reasonable.
I met summer 8 years ago when she worked in Oakland. She is the most incredible masseuse I had ever had! She moved to Dublin, opened her own spa and I followed her there. Absolutely worth the long drive! She is so gifted, has magical hands and knows exactly what your body needs.
I have been suffering for a year with lipedema and no help from my insurance company I was just past from one specialist to the next til I was finally diagnosed. I was driving by New Holiday Spa when I saw lymph drainage I went in and met Summer. She has changed my life. She is amazing!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
