What clients say about the cupping here
“Extremely professional and well knowledgeable.”
“She was great about focusing on a few of my problem areas and by the end I was half asleep it was so relaxing.”
From the reviews
Hands-down, the best massage I’ve ever had. Extremely professional and well knowledgeable. She is excellent at her craft.
I had a myofascial massage today at Tree of Life Massage w/Christine, and I’m honestly still trying to put into words what happened in that room. It wasn’t just a massage … it felt like someone finally saw what my body had been carrying and gently, skillfully helped me let it go.
I have had a lot of massages from many different people. Christine is at the top of my list. Her rates are very reasonable and she is easy to get into within a day or two. I originally went to her for low back and shoulder pain. Her room is set up to immediately create calmness.
Don’t think about it, just book Christine. First time seeing her since I’m newer to town and it was a fantastic choice. She was great about focusing on a few of my problem areas and by the end I was half asleep it was so relaxing. Will be back!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
