From the reviews

Danielle and Mike are the best! I went to see this awesome duo for prenatal massage throughout my third trimester and then for postnatal massage after my baby’s birth. Both practitioners clearly understood my needs and the physical aches, pains, and strains that come with pregnancy and life as a new mom.

★★★★★ — Dana, Jul 2021

Danielle is a wonderful massage therapist. She has always taken such good care of me all throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. She makes great products as well that I have enjoyed using and gifting to family and friends. She is warm, kind, friendly, flexible and accommodating, and of course very talented.

★★★★★ — Nina, Sep 2022

Tree of Life Healing Arts made my first pregnancy experience truly enjoyable, educational, and kept me at ease throughout the process! I utilized their services for prenatal massages, childbirth education class, lactation class, and doula services.

★★★★★ — Lisa, Apr 2025

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Danielle in our home for the comprehensive childbirth education class. Our schedules did not allow for us to attend her other classes so upon reaching out she was able to come to our home. It was a great experience and Danielle is so knowledgeable.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
