Rebecca is amazing. She asks lots of questions and get to know you and your conditions whether physical, emotional, mental etc...before devising a plan. Once she has a plan, she explains it very well. It is important to give feedback as the treatment plan needs to change as you make progress.
Beyond my expectations, I was relieved of my ongoing issue on the first visit. Obviously everyone's circumstances are different, but Rebecca was able to "connect the dots" for me, then follow-up has prevented a return of my pain. My only regret is that I didn't give this a chance sooner.
My experience so far has been very good. Rebeca listens and is attentive to my needs. I enjoy the experience and am grateful to find something to help with my chronic pain. I also appreciate the appointment times and availability to accommodate my busy schedule.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
