From the reviews

Steve Dozois is the definition of a true professional. As skilled as he is with his hands and as knowledgeable as he is about the human body, his greatest strength lies in his ability to ask the right questions and genuinely listen to his clients' responses.

★★★★★ — Andy, Jun 2026

If you or a loved one is sore, stressed, or seeking a moment to relax, definitely make an appointment! Steve has helped me over the years recover from basic wear and tear, but most remarkably, he is able to bring comfort to my mother.

★★★★★ — Mary, Sep 2024

Had my first 1 hr session with Steve today and it was an amazing massage experience. I went to Steve because I play soccer and want to maintain good recovery after games. I briefly told him my problem areas, he asked me a few questions and got right to work. He knew all the spots I need work on.

★★★★★ — Laurence, Oct 2022

Steve is the best massage therapist! I started seeing him a year and a half ago for an ankle sprain and the sports massages have been instrumental in my recovery. He helped me way more than my first physical therapist (he recommended the physical therapists who are actually helpful!).

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
