From the reviews
Lifelong athlete here. Brianna Martin is truly exceptional. She has helped me work through multiple complex issues, including a bulging disc in my back, recovery from hip surgery, and osteoarthritis in my knees.
I was afraid that I would have to have some sort of surgery done on my rotor cuff when I first got started on my physical therapy. Tiffany Walker was amazing. Through her patients, the passion for her field and wanting me to recover without surgery I feel amazing today as I leave my last therapy session.
I have been coming here for a few months now for physical therapy. I’ve been to physical therapy several times in the past and this is by far the best in many respects. Noticeable improvement in movement, pain, and ability since working with their therapists. Additionally, they have an in house masseuse.
I cannot say enough positive things about total function physical therapy and Bree! She truly went above and beyond in every aspect of care. From the very first visit she genuinely listened and was able to make a knowledgeable plan of care that made a world of difference in my life.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
