From the reviews

I had been struggling with digestive issues, night time severe nausea issues, and brain fog for about a ten-year period of time! I have been to at least 12 doctors over a 10 year period, received multiple tests, but continued to experience these issues with only minimal improvement.

★★★★★ — John, Aug 2019

I have known Dr. Tobin for over 10 years and she is without question the best acupuncturist I have ever been to (and I have been to many). No matter what ailment I go in to see her about, I feel 100% better in one visit! In fact, her technique is so unique that during my treatment, I literally pass out.

★★★★★ — Stacy, Jul 2019

Amazing clinic; it's so much more than acupuncture. This is holistic health for all ailments. The doctor doesn't just put needles in you, she gets to know you, treats your whole being and uses prescription supplements and detoxes.

★★★★★ — Anna, Mar 2017

Dr. Tobin is an amazingly knowledgeable, intuitive, and gifted holistic healer. Not only is she an incredible acupuncturist, she has many healing tools and techniques to treat your body from head to toe.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
