From the reviews

To everyone who might be afraid of trying something new, I am a 62-year-old woman who has dealt with fibromyalgia, torn cartilage in the knee, digestive issues, and arthritis, and made a giant leap to try an alternate form of medicine.

★★★★★ — Kerran, Aug 2015

I started seeing Lauren after I had an Abdominoplasty and was having some bad side effects from the surgery. I was stressed and having dizzy spells. I started see to Lauren for treatment and gradually began to feel better. I truly believe the treatment she provided helped me recover and feel better quickly.

★★★★★ — Whitney, Sep 2014

I have been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for stage 4 breast cancer and Lauren has been nothing but compassionate and very helpful with my care! With her treatments I am able to eat right after acupuncture and I sleep and can relax so much more comfortably! I love everything about Lauren especially her attitude !

★★★★★ — Erin, Mar 2017

Lauren is truly an enlighten healer!!! She can perceive what your body needs both mentally and physically with little chatter. As she's placing the needles she glows with a angelic white light. She's helped me a great deal to find peace. Blessings

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
