From the reviews
Danielle is amazing! I came to her with some lower back pain and she was very helpful. The Acupuncture and cupping sessions I did were very relaxing and I felt almost immediate relief after the sessions I did.
I started going to Danielle for help with post-partum issues that western medicine was falling short in addressing. Since then she has helped me through a miscarriage, pregnancy, and now postpartum care. She has so much expertise and knowledge.
I was referred to Danielle at Thriving with Eastern Medicine when my husband and I decided to start our family, and I am endlessly grateful for that recommendation. From the very beginning, she offered thoughtful guidance on fertility and continued to be a grounding source of support once I became pregnant.
Danielle is absolutely amazing! She helped me heal my liver regaining much needed energy. She also has been helping with my PCOS & other hormonal imbalances. It's been wonderful! I'm excited to continue working on my overall health with Danielle.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
