From the reviews
Great staff that is welcoming and friendly. They have a multitude of techniques and skills to help anyone literally. They seem to pool their skills to address your condition, so you get the best therapy for you that day. Sometimes, we are working an area, which then affects another.
Gisele is truly exceptional at what she does. Her extensive knowledge shines through in her work, as she takes the time to educate you about your body and explains things in a way that’s easy to grasp. I highly recommend her. Savanna is outstanding in her field.
My partner booked me a massage at this facility as a gift. I was a bit anxious because I’ve never gotten a massage, I did communicate this to Erica who was my therapist for this session and she was so reassuring. Erica was informative and very kind. I felt AMAZING by the end of the session and much more comfortable.
I have been having issues for a while but when I came to Thrive it was life changing. Julie was amazing! From my first session I knew this was the place for me and she was the physical therapist that was going to help me get better. Her attention to detail is phenomenal.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
