From the reviews
Very good energy in this place. All the ladies are nice. Crystal was very kind and did an amazing job, especially on the foot massage. I get many massages, so I can tell if a person knows what they’re doing or not. She’s definitely a professional.
Nin was professional, attentive and intuitive. The space is very clean and welcoming. Great vibe. I haven't felt this good in MONTHS. Highly recommend. Looking forward to my next session ☺️
I went to Thrive after suffering from tension headaches. My PMD suggested that I get massages due to the tension in my neck and back. I was skeptical at first but was willing to try anything to make the headaches stop. I'm so glad I did. Jenna was very knowledgeable and worked on my neck during my first session.
Ive been going to Jenna Pond every month for several years now. I live in Madison but the drive to Jainsville is worth it because she has magical healing hands. I deal with lots of chronic pain and trigger points, but Jenna always smooths it out for me. She's also very personable and kind.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
