From the reviews
I have a disability from.birth that has brought on many problems to my body. I have been a patient of Thrive Physical Therapy for about three years. Both Mindy and Justin have been able to find and treat my many issues. We’ve had to apply different methods to achieve the set goals since my challenges are so complexed.
I am so impressed with Mindy. She is such a knowledgeable therapist. She is great in communicating with the client and helps the individual to understand what is happening in their body and how to resolve the issue. She has a full understanding of how the body works and how everything is connected.
Mindy has been a huge help to me during my pregnancy. I was experiencing a lot of pelvic laxity, which was causing pain through my pubic symphysis and at times trouble walking.
The red light therapy is amazing ,I started doing red light in February for my back problems it has helped but the main thing I have noticed is how much it’s improved my migraines. I have had severe migraines my whole life, but since I started using the red light therapy on my head it’s gotten rid of my migraines.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
