Why Thompson Family Acupuncture Clinic is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “uncture and East Asian medicine date back to 200 BC and some Chinese medical teachings are nearly 3,000 years old. East Asian medicine encompasses a wide variety of modalities, which includes acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha,…” source →

From the reviews
I struggle with severe reproductive health issues, and have for about 7 years now. I’ve tried many medications and preventative measures over the years, and this spring my illness got to the point in which I was in so much pain that daily functioning became difficult.
Very comfortable environment and great treatment. Highly recommend Thompson Family Clinic if you’re looking for acupuncture therapy and treatments.
I have delayed trying acupuncture because I am scared of needles but dealing with long term stress that was building in my body, and all the curiosity of watching on social media, made me reconsider. And I'm so glad I did. The needle experience was more than fine.
I would highly recommend the acupuncture services and the craniosacral therapy. Saved my life! Suffered from an inflamed nerve for far too long which conventional medicine did not begin to touch. I am a new woman. Thank you Breanne and Corrie!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
