From the reviews

We often take our awesome bodies for granted and sometimes we even abuse it until we suffer an injury. I recently carried two large loads of food on my shoulders walking up two flights. It felt heavier than usual but because I work out regularly, I thought it would not be a problem.

I’ve been going to Therapydia Saratoga for 2 years . This is the best clinic for physical therapy period . I really want to give a shout out to my Therapist Bethany . I have the typical Silicon Valley issues with tight neck and shoulders and tight hip flexors .

★★★★★ — Vikram, Mar 2026

I had a great experience at Therapydia. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very professional. My therapist Robert was patient, attentive, and always made sure I was comfortable while doing the exercises. I also appreciated how encouraging and supportive the entire team was throughout the process.

I went to Saratoga Therapydia after a full knee replacement in January. Aaron assessed my situation and assigned me to Tony as my physical therapist. Tony is a very engaging person who developed an exercise schedule that he adapted weekly to meet my changing situation as my body healed.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
