From the reviews
I came here for my scoliosis which caused my nerves numbness and heaviness, makes my leg weak and almost broke back, i feel very uncomfortable and in pain… after the treatments of acupuncture, electric stimulation and cupping I felt big relief and much lees numbness and I felt my legs are relaxed and lighter.
I went there because I hurt my ankle ligaments while playing pickleball. Dr. Zhou used traditional Chinese medicine’s techniques to treat me including acupuncture with electrical stimulation, cupping, and bloodletting (only few blood). After the treatment I felt the pain level decreased 20% when I walked.
Came in for a consultation. She did an Acugraph scan of my readings and explained that my sinus issues were contributing to my stress as a start-up entrepreneur. The graph was very accurate. Then she provided a treatment that included acupuncture and cupping, and I already feel a lot better.
I have been loving my experience at Eternal Health. I’ve had about 6 sessions of acupuncture so far and have been treated by Quli herself (the owner of Eternal), Connie, and Eric. They all have slightly different methods (in terms of gentler to stronger stimulation) but are all amazing.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Eternal Health & Wellness Acupuncture Center
Eternal Health & Wellness Acupuncture Center comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — ask whether that can be arranged. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
