From the reviews
I went for a manual lymphatic drainage massage because I had some inflammation after a kybella injection. The results after just one session were amazing. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had. Dana was very knowledgeable and professional.
Dana really takes attention to detail, asking about any problem areas or any background information. Ultimately, she knew exactly what I needed and used the feedback I gave as a guide for the deep tissue massage. Dealing with hip issues, she really brought to my attention how this affects other areas too!
All I can say is got results after the first session. Dana is a caring, knowledgeable and therapist. She made me feel instantly comfortable. She took the time to listen to my issues and needs. She wanted to understand what results I was looking for and then she created a plan for me.
I’ve had such a positive experience working with Dana over the past few months as I’ve trained for the TCS NYC Marathon. She curated an exceptional recovery plan tailored to my needs, which has allowed my body to handle high weekly running mileage without injury or burnout.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
