From the reviews

Dr. Carrie is an excellent doctor. She has the compassion and heart of your grandmother, mother and wife combined when treating you. Her positive energy makes me feel better in just seeing her. You know you will get help and relief from her. When I leave I want to just hug her like a sister but I respect Dr.

★★★★★ — Cheryl, Sep 2018

Not sure where to start. Dr. Carrie has helped me with so many things. I actually see her first for any of my ailments. She has helped me with an incredibly bad case of eczema, an extremely pulled muscle in my back (she fixed it in 5 minutes).

★★★★★ — Paige, Nov 2019

I came to Carrie for acupuncture specifically related to fertility issues. She has been a constant positive source in this very stressful process. As a natural anxious person, I always feel so much better after a treatment. Carrie is kind, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and flexible.

★★★★★ — Kimberly, May 2022

I've been meaning to write this review for over two years now. I highly recommend Dr. Carrie! You will be treated as a whole person when you see her and I promise you will walk away feeling better off for having been cared for by her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
