I could barely walk in my back hurt so bad. I called and was able to get in the same day. I was having muscle spasms and had knots all over my body. I got a 90-minute massage with Connie. She also did cupping on me. One day later and I can hardly feel where my back hurt. I've had many massages my whole life.
My massage therapist did a great job 🤗 I always need a fim massage so the chiropractor can adjust me after. Never experienced the infrared light during a massage and that was actually really nice. Soft music. Lighting was great. Hot stones were great. And when you are face up the lighting was dimmed lower.
I have been here a few times, this was my second therapist. All have been good this one was GREAT. Very professional and intuitive. I appreciated the stretching, too. Included Ashiatsu (walk on back) and some Thai stretching elements. Looking forward to a return visit…soon!
Great experience! I had a sensitive shoulder and arm, a new experience for me because I rarely had trouble. My arm muscles felt like dried spaghetti, so tight and sensitive. After a massage here, my shoulder and arm have improved greatly; my muscles back to original condition.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
