From the reviews
I came to the Wellness Principle team in September with back pain issues that had recently become much worse. I had been dealing with sciatica pain for roughly 8 months at that point and after a tell tale *pop* in my back, was rendered incapable of even reaching my knees or putting on my socks.
I’ve been going to the wellness principle for 4 years now, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! As with any great location, the atmosphere is welcoming and calming – my anxiety dissipates the second I enter those doors. Dr. Munson is who I mainly see but I recommend all the practitioners. Dr.
I had an amazing experience with acupuncture at The Wellness Principal, thanks to Dr. Bianca and her exceptional care. From the moment I walked in, the environment was warm and inviting, instantly putting me at ease. Dr.
Absolutely the best acupuncturist in the valley! Dr. Munson is not only a skilled practitioner but also a true healer and a gifted shaman. His treatments have profoundly supported my mind, body, and spirit on my healing journey. I truly don’t know where I would be without his compassionate care.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
