From the reviews
I’ve tried to start a fitness journey so many times in the past by going into the gym and “working out” without a plan and it was just inconsistent. I always gave up and tried again the next year and sure enough, quit.
I just wrapped up an incredible wellness retreat in Bali with Bare Health, and it was an experience I’ll never forget! Each day was thoughtfully designed to promote relaxation, growth, and healing, with a powerful mix of meditation, yoga, sound baths, breath work, and inspiring sessions with local shamans.
I was invited to join along on a retreat to Bali with Tessa & Bare Health at the recommendation of my mom. I had no expectations but knew the experience was going to be immersive in modalities I had never experienced.
I am so grateful for Matt, Tessa, Teal, Armando and the whole team at Bare Health. Going to the gym is like going to see family - without any family stress! Everyone is so upbeat and supportive - they've made a huge difference in my life.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
