From the reviews
This practice is amazing. Kelly is an absolute professional and well versed in her skill set. I have had several wonderful sessions there. I have found the treatment to be beneficial and a totally positive experience. The receptionist is a joy she is helpful and accommodating.
Kelly is a delight and has an amazing bedside manner. I felt at ease very quickly. My lower back had been very swollen for a year but after my first session, the swelling went down more than I thought possible!
I tried several providers before deciding The Wellness Point offers superior customer service. For example, user friendly website, and text message reminders. I really appreciate the service
I’ve had both an acupuncture treatment, and massage therapy done here. The staff, as a whole, are excellent. The massage I got from Kerry was phenomenal.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
