From the reviews

Dianne is an excellent massage therapist who is very personable and professional. I love that she concentrates on the muscles that need the most attention and applies her medical massage techniques to encourage those tight muscles to relax. She has helped me tremendously with neck and back issues.

Very comfortable, casual atmosphere, clean, and professional. Amanda gave a fantastic massage! After finding out areas that were an issue for me, she really cared about addressing them. Even had the owner talk to me and assess an area I had been complaining about. I felt great afterwards, and will be going back!

I love The Wellness Centre. After visiting numerous “commercial “ spas, I can say that I found my little piece of heaven. I love the serenity you feel when entering the space. Amanda was amazing and listened intently to what I was needing. I highly recommend her. Excited about my next visit.

I really enjoyed my therapy session with Jacqueline J. I had a medical massage. It was my first one and it was really beneficial. The centere is clean and the energy was good. I also had the light therapy which made a noticeable difference. I am looking forward to future sessions.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
