From the reviews
THINGS TO DO: We obviously had a rental car (from Hyannis Airport), and it was massively helpful/useful as we used it constantly. For us, the Villages was a unique, affordable (most of the top properties are at least $1K/night) "home base" for us in the Brewster/Hyannis/Barnstable/Provincetown area.
Stayed two nights here for a wonderful wedding at The Mansion. We had a one bedroom with another couple so we slept on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a very good experience with one exception which I will speak to shortly. The rooms was pleasantly large.
It was very pleasant, and the staff and restaurants are excellent, but for the gravitas and 'upscale-ness' they put forward, the rooms are well appointed, but almost dingy. Furniture is ever so slightly worn and dinged up, carpets are worn a bit, and the whole outside area could use a solid power washing.
We had a beutifull time, stayed in arbour town village. I read some concerning reviews, but i could find the reason for the bad information, maybe the room has a little smell because it has carpet.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
