I visited Spa Lounge yesterday for a massage, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in years. I’ve been searching for a great massage therapist and spa for a long time, but I always left feeling like something was missing. Not this time.
I had a very enjoyable experience at The Spa Lounge. It was my first time there and it exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to be able to change into a robe and slippers and relax in the relaxation room before my appointment.
I was so glad I made the call to get a massage & that I was accomadated same day, especially on a Friday. I had felt so much tension & my nervous system can get so bad the whole week & I felt a massage would help.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
