What clients say about the cupping here
“Every time I go, I feel more relaxed and in less pain!”
From the reviews
Maria has been an actual blessing. I found her in 2021 and i see her every week! Her treatments have helped my chronic back pain immensely. I actually come all the way from nyc to see her because shes so amazing. Ive seen a handful of acupuncturists before, but no one quite fixes the issues like Maria does.
Very relaxing studios. I’ve had many treatments here and all of them have provided relief, whether it’s acupuncture or cupping, etc… would highly recommend if you’re looking for a personable and customized 1 on 1 experience.
The healing starts as soon as you walk through the door. Such wonderful energy !! i highly recommend booking a treatment with Maria!
When my back hurts, Maria is essential to getting me moving again. Every time I go, I feel more relaxed and in less pain!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
