From the reviews
I wish there was something greater than 5 stars; Sean saved my life; I was blessed to find him as I had already hit a wall with the traditional doctors; Sean is very kind and his knowledge is beyond acupuncture; he is a well read practitioner with vast knowledge about the human body.
Where do I even start? I am so grateful to have found The Point Acupuncture & Wellness. From the very beginning, Cheryl was warm, welcoming, and genuinely supportive, she truly cares about every patient who walks through the door. Dr. Song exceeded all my expectations.
Exceptional Care and Support from Dr. Sean Song and Team I’ve had a truly positive experience with Dr. Sean Song’s acupuncture services. His expertise and compassionate approach have been incredibly helpful in supporting my health journey. Dr.
I have had acupuncture before. I am a believer in this work. When I messed up my ankle last October I thought I should seek alternative treatment. I was able to get in and see Dr Song. In the first session he treated my ankle, the injured one and the other ankle that had some existing issues.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
