From the reviews
Oh my goodness, I’m not usually one to review a place after one encounter but the massage therapist, Alisha, was so great that I feel confident in leaving a review.
I have been getting massages for roughly 14 years, in different parts of the country and slightly beyond the US too. Since recently discovering Alisha, I have experienced the best massages I have ever had. She is on par with $250/hr places etc.
Alisha is an amazing massage therapist. It was the perfect blend of deep tissue with relaxation. She worked hard to get to my knots and pressure points and made sure to check in with me about pressure since it was my first time seeing her. I highly recommend her and will request her again for my next massage.
I just had a 90 minute firm massage with Alisha. She was beyond amazing, gave me tips for things I could do at home. I could really feeling her working on those spots that need it the most. She is definitely my new favorite and I’ll be using her from now on!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
