From the reviews
I had an incredible experience with Bohdan Mulaki for the Gliding Cupping / 80-Minute Body Gua Sha / The Stretch 80 deep tissue session. The pressure was exactly what I was looking for, deep, effective, and intentional without ever feeling careless. Bohdan clearly knows what he’s doing and understands the body well.
What a warm and calming entry! The waiting room was so soothing, it felt like while I was waiting for my treatment, the spa day had already started! Everyone was so welcoming and I cannot wait to book here again!
The NOW in Santa Monica is one of the most relaxing and luxurious spa experiences I’ve found in LA. The moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve escaped to a beautiful boutique resort in Tulum, calming ocean sounds, soft lighting, peaceful energy and such a thoughtfully designed space.
Troy is awesome! I recommend anyone to see him. My job is very demanding physically and the tension I had was relived immediately. He is attentive and detailed during the session, I can't wait to come back. I would recommend anyone who has a heavy or stressful job to come and ask for Troy!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
