“The rooms are only divided by a curtain you can not see through but can hear the next area very easy so to limit that they have a peaceful ocean sound loop playing.”
“The Now balances a clean, relaxing, easy experience with less frills than a luxury spa but maintains a high quality massage.”
“This was my first time here and I was a bit taken aback that the massage spaces are not separate rooms but separated by curtains (see photos) and you can hear the people next to you.”
From the reviews
Ok, so this place is new, and let me tell you, it's a great business, Jonny knows how to use his hands and stretch you out to relieve pain hrs incredible. The front office employees are also great some things you need to know though. Just like most massage places, they do not take FSA visa or master cards.
Highly recommend Bobby! He did a phenomenal job combining lymphatic drainage and cupping during my last session. I felt an immediate difference in my body—way less tension and felt good circulation to my muscles. He is incredibly skilled and professional. I will definitely be back!
I had a great deep tissue massage with Ryan that helped relieve some muscle pain I was having. 10/10 on the massage, would definitely come back. This was my first time here and I was a bit taken aback that the massage spaces are not separate rooms but separated by curtains (see photos) and you can hear the people next…
Karen gives a phenomenal massage. From the moment the session begins, the experience is incredibly relaxing and the sound of ocean waves playing in the background sets the perfect tone. She does an excellent job releasing tension, especially in my upper back, neck, scalp, and face.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
