From the reviews
I recently heard about flotation therapy and told myself "You know what? I mind as well give this a shot!" Overall, the experience was pleasant indeed! The purpose of float therapy is to close off from the outside world, allowing your mind to unwind and flows freely, releasing dopamine and endorphins from the brain,…
There was a miscommunication on my appointment time but Lydia was more than accommodating and kind. The location is calming and clean. The massage was awesome and then II did a float which I had never done. It was exactly what I needed after a really rough week. It made me so much better.
I've been floating for years and have been going to Float Nola for at least 4 years straight now. Circel is the greatest and the most laid back and knowledgeable person in the business. The tanks are cleaned after every session and both Alpha and Omega pod rooms are immaculately kept.
I had the most incredible experience at Float NOLA! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so comfortable and cared for. They were kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything, which really helped me relax before my session even started.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
