Why The Massage Sanctuary is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “pre/post-natal massage, neuromuscular and trigger point therapies, pre/post-event sports massage, injury treatment/rehabilitation, craniosacral work, lymphatic massage, hot stone, reiki, acupressure/shiatsu massage, and cupping.…” source →

From the reviews
…She uses cupping which I had not heard of before but I’m not sure I can ever have a massage without it now! I was so relaxed when I left I strolled home genuinely without a care in the world. Highly, highly recommend.
My favorite place to get a massage in Seattle. Can't go wrong with a therapist and if you're okay with cupping,I recommend Momoe.
Update: my first experience was not the best but I was able to talk with management and we were able to find a remedy. This is a nice quiet place in Capital Hill. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Even though there is no receptionist you call or email if questions come up. Please give these folks a try.
Brynn is an artist. An absolutely wonderful experience, she makes sure to cater each session to any active issues or areas of focus you're looking for.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
