I recently visited The Holistic Skin Studio for my second appointment with Dani, and I cannot recommend this place enough! After a particularly stressful week, I walked into the studio feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
Dani is exceptionally talented. She has such a healing and restorative touch that is not always easy to find in a professional that isn't also licensed in more in-depth massage modalities. I entered her studio in a complete burnout and left feeling more restored than I had in a very long time.
Went to see Dani feeling like a crumpled ip piece of paper. Her studio is warm, inviting and very very comfortable. Honestly I was so relaxed when I left it was a miracle. She discussed my skin care routine with me and how to meet my skin care goals. My skin is super sensitive and her products did not irritate it.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
