From the reviews

Last Sunday night I went to an introductory breathing/ pranyama class at Floating Lotus. I'm pretty experienced in this area, so I can objectively say it was excellent. JR is carefully building up the fundamentals of this key practice in a very solid way.

Had a phenomenal experience with my massage by Ms Freeman. It was so great and relaxing, and the time just went by so quickly. I decided to purchase a massage membership. If you are on the fence, Take the leap you won't regret it. Self Care is my mission from here on out. Excited about my next appointment!

Kim was amazing. Such a kind and talented therapist. She made an amazing difference in my neck and shoulder pain and tightness. Also appreciated her recommendation of two products for home use. Too bad I’m only visiting the area. I’d definitely go back again regularly. Very friendly and efficient staff.

My husband and I got a couples massage with Nishay and Kim and WOW, it was an amazing experience! Kim did my prenatal massage and it was truly one of the best massages I have received. It was my husband's first time ever getting a massage, and he loved it.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
