From the reviews
Pinnacle Health and Wellness is a gem! I always go to Margaret for her amazing cupping and acupuncture! I always feel so refreshed and in less pain after an appointment with her. As a professional athlete, I cannot recommend Pinnacle and Margaret enough!
I've been seeing Margaret for acupuncture for the last few months, she has helped me with issues ranging from painful menstrual cycles, shoulder/bicep pain, digestion, emotional disruption and the list goes on. She is also an herbalist and can recommend herbal supplements to aid in your healing.
Margaret is an absolute gem. I went in with a sprain and walked away feeling so much better than when I walked in the door. She was kind, caring and thoughtful about what treatment was best for me and it made all the difference in the world. If you're considering trying out acupuncture I cannot recommend her enough.
Margaret is a caring, attentive practitioner. I always feel listened to when I explaining my symptoms. She is a great acupuncturist and has a lot of knowledge about changes I can make at home to help support my health. Her treatments leave me feeling relaxed and grounded and ready to take on the day!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
