From the reviews

I just had an hour massage with Jess and she is AMAZING! Her knowledge of massage therapy and treatment is the BEST I have yet to experience. I have many years of massage therapy treatment all over the country and as a physical therapist and athlete Jess has it down to a science.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pure Bliss at The Cottages The Cottages is truly my sanctuary. Every time I visit, I’m reminded why it’s my favorite spa. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere shifts — peaceful, welcoming, and designed with such intentional comfort.

Can't say enough good things about this establishment. I had Nina for my massage today and she absolutely crushed it. She worked magic on my shoulders with additional comfort measures such as heat at no added cost. She was also very easy to hold a conversation with before and after the massage.

★★★★★ — Megan, Nov 2025

The Cottages are a Niceville staple for just about any self care experience you can think of. The providers are all experienced and wonderful at what they do and the owner is honest, down to earth, and easy to communicate with. If you want a great spa day, I cannot recommend The Cottages enough!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
