From the reviews
Amy is by far phenomenal! Her ability to listen, understand and isolate as well as treat pain is amazing. I'm a veteran whose been healing from illness and surgeries and I've been on the journey of restoring my health holistically.
I don't know where to begin or how to find to the words to express the gratitude I have toward Dr. Quinn. When I first started seeing him I was in an emotional and physical crisis. My entire insides were inflamed and the perfect storm was actively causing me so many issues.
I have been dealing with ongoing health issues, for which my general practitioner and other medical specialists have provided little help beyond what is covered by my insurance. Typically, the solution has been to prescribe medication, often with side effects that are worse than the original issues.
I cannot recommend Dr. Quinn and his practice enough. His approach to functional medicine has completely transformed my health. He took the time to understand my unique concerns—particularly around gut health and chronic inflammation—and created a personalized plan that addressed the root causes, not just the symptoms.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
