Came here with some girlfriends while on a ski trip. Our friend arranged massages for the group (4 of us in total). From the moment we walked in the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The spa itself was beautiful and tranquil and adorably enough located in a lodge called the Rusty Parrot.
I got a massage here and it was amazing. They offer quite a few other services that I would love to try if I'm ever in the area again. The atmosphere from registration until I left was very soothing. I felt very pampered.
My mom and I had the best experience here- and we are picky! The management was very accommodating and kind. We felt completely comfortable from the start. If you are looking for true therapists, ask for Hope and Annalese. The Hammam treatments were very special and unlike any spa experience we’ve had.
Every Time I come to Jackson Hole I have a massage at the Body Sage at the Rusty Parrot. But this year Taylor who does both a deep tissue massage also with some Thai massage included did an exceptional job. I had just finished a 6 hr horseback ride the day before and was extremely sore??
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
