From the reviews
Today was my last day at Taylor Creek! I say this with an exclamation because I'm so excited to share what I've gone through the last year. I had surgery for my sciatic nerve. I chose Taylor Creek because of the approach they use, PRI (Postural Restoration Institute). It's not just about your specific pain.
I have struggled with muscle tightness/knots, pain, and lack of movement in my neck and shoulder for years. After my cervical disc replacement my muscles were so tight and I developed deep knots that also caused constant pain and lack of motion.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAYLOR CREEK PHYSICAL THERAPY! I began physical therapy 3 weeks ago after being referred to Taylor Creek Physical Therapy from my massage therapist, Shayla Dieter. I am 27 years old and have been through physical therapy at least 4 other times at another facility for different issues.
When I started at Taylor Creek, I was not a fan of physical therapy. I’d been to at least two other places, & while they were okay, I wasn’t helped very much by them. A friend highly recommended TCPT, though, so I decided to give them a try. At first, I was skeptical of a lot of the exercises I did, esp.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
