From the reviews
This was my 3rd PT visit in a year at NE Nebr. PT in Norfolk. Katie and Intern Trey worked the knots out of my shoulders and back. My last visit I was given the exercises to keep this from returning. Also exercises to improve balance and build strength. I continue to improve by doing the exercises.
My wellness began when I stepped into northeast Nebraska physical therapy. My son recommended the team, he was right! The team at northeast Nebraska PT are friendly, welcoming, funny and knowledgeable about your wellness.
Always look forward to my PT sessions. I have made great strides in my recovery from shoulder replacement due to Physical Therapy. Therapists are great and appreciate that they all make me feel they are truly concerned about trying to help me achieve FULL recovery! We are almost there!
Everyone at the facility is so friendly and helpful. I arrived with nerves flaring up in my legs. With the excercises they provided my pain has calmed down. I would recommend Northeast Nebraska Physical therapy for your physical needs for pain and well-being.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
