From the reviews

If you're feeling stressed this is the place to visit. Every massage therapist is highly trained and professional. I walked in with tense shoulders and left completely relaxed. Thank you, Annie!

This is the only massage place I go to. I regularly see two different massage therapists, Marie and Lucy. Over the years, I have seen many different massage therapists, but unfortunately no one has ever been able to help me and relieve all the pain and tightness I constantly have in my shoulders, neck and mid-back.

Excellent massage service. However the masseuse handled the hair on my head in a rough manner. She could have asked me to tie it in a pony tail but she didn’t. The massage itself was very good / the hour slipped by very quickly. The massage rooms are separated by screens.

★★★★☆ — Aparna, May 2025

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had—and I’ve had massages at home in Pennsylvania, at luxury resorts in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, even the Four Seasons—nothing compares to Taiji AcuCare.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
