From the reviews
Dr. Kat is one of a kind. She’s so knowledgeable, personable and truly a gem! I look forward to my appointments because without her I wouldn’t be able to move the way I can. She helped me through my pregnancy and now post partum. Her soft tissue work really helps ease constant aches and pains.
Dr Kat is amazing. She truly listens-- to what you say verbally and what your body says. if you book a 60-minute massage, you get a full 60 minutes of a massage (unlike chain spas). Instead of old magazines and uncomfortable chairs, the waiting room has a jigsaw puzzle in progress and massage chairs available!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Kat for a while now, and she is truly fantastic. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain what she’s doing, offering helpful tips on stretching and improving overall mobility. I always leave feeling better than when I walked in.
Dr. Kat is the absolute best! She truly cares about her patients and works with you to ensure you have the care your body needs. I have been seeing her since December of 2020 and cannot recommend her enough.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
