…Lu did a phenomenal job getting all the knots & tension out of my body… using hot stones, cupping, Ashiatsu, & an eastern medicine heating pad Lu massaged & stretched every ounce of tightness out of me!! there’s no other place you can find or get all of those treatments / techniques performed during one massage!!
I woke up one morning with stiff neck and shoulders. She was able to fit me in on same day appointment. I loved the experience overall: hot stones, scalp massage, cupping, heat pad, and being walked on. My mom loved the experience too!
Got a deep tissue massage with cupping for my tense shoulder and back. It was very good. The masseuse was very attentive and did a great job. One of the few places I would recommend for people who have tense muscles.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
