Open Circle is an incredible place with a fantastic team! I was nervous to give give acupuncture a try but am grateful I did. I've seen a noticeable difference in my stress levels since starting sessions. The team is welcoming and I look forward to relaxation time each week.

Melissa so so skilled and always listens to my ailments so she can address in the best way. I would highly recommend Open Circle !
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I was very aware of the many health benefits of acupuncture. It was a goal of mine to start acupuncture in 2019. I met Melissa and Kim at a meeting one night and knew that I wanted to incorporate regular acupuncture sessions at Open Circle into my life as part of my wellness approach to…
⸻ From the moment I walked into open circle , I felt an immediate sense of calm that I hadn’t realized I was missing. The atmosphere was quiet but welcoming, with soft lighting, soothing scents, and a peaceful energy that made it feel like a break from the outside world.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
