Why Tactical Therapeutics is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “the appropriate set of modalities to combat the issue at hand to provide relief and healing into the future. The initial recovery process takes about 48 hours, as your body disperses the old and refreshes with the new. Cupping marks…” source →

From the reviews

I was referred to Dominique by a friend and I’m so glad I went in! I was in pain from working out so much and lots of running. Dominique was able to help the problem areas. I already feel so much better after the cupping session. I would also like to mention that he is very educated and passionate about what he does.

I cannot recommend Tactical Therapeutics enough. I came in after dealing with a grueling four-day migraine and intense anxiety, which had left my entire body locked up in painful muscle tension. Dominique worked his magic via fire cupping, and the relief was almost immediate.

I just wanted to post my experience with Dom at Tactical Therapeutics with cupping. I originally went in because I was in a bike accident and doctors just wanted to give me medicine and shots, with out very much relief. My niece told me about Dom and I gave it a try. Pleasantly, I felt relief in my neck!

Dominique is a magician! He knows more about what you need than you do, it’s amazing!! I get the “massage” type healing process (no cupping) and it does the trick perfectly! Highly recommend.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
