What clients say about the cupping here
“In the 8 plus years I have known Anna, she has aided me in dealing with chronic back and neck pain ( pre and post surgeries) which has allowed me to function more fully in all areas of my life.”
“Anna is so knowledgeable in her craft and takes the time to understand what the problem is and really focus on the issue to help relieve the pain.”
“She actually listened to my request to focus on neck and shoulders for our therapeutic (deep tissue + stretch) massage session.”
“My husband and I have been going here for about 3 years now and every time we go, we come out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.”
“Anna and Stephanie work with me to address various injuries, recovery from weightlifting/fitness, and addressing health issues related to sitting all day for my job.”
From the reviews
This is one of the best massages I have ever had because Anna knew exactly which areas needed the most work, and what would work best in the future for me. Due to how tense I am from work, and being low key anxious all the time my shoulders and back were my biggest problems, and she noted that adding cupping to the…
I recently came across Restore by searching for tension/pain relief near me. As I recently moved to the area, I’ve tried a couple other places that are larger brands, but my massage at Restore with Wendy topped them all by a long way!
Stephanie is absolutely amazing! She worked with me for over a year, every 4 - 6 weeks, focusing on targeted areas on my back. I suffer from Alopecia, and during that time the stress relief from the massages—along with her taking the time to work oil into my scalp during each session—made a noticeable difference.
TLDR; wendy was AMAZING, lady at the front desk... not as much. After a super stressful week I was in need of a massage and found Restore Wellness on Google, booked 30 mins and Wendy did an AMAZING job she listened to everything I needed and went over by 15 minutes (which I wasn't aware of in the room).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
