From the reviews

I am a skeptic turned believer! When I met Alisha I knew very little about acupuncture and honestly had my doubts about its purported benefits. I came to her emotionally and physically exhausted from struggles with infertility, hypothyroidism, chronic headaches, and overall stress overload.

★★★★★ — Katherine, Mar 2019

Alisha has done an amazing job of creating a safe, beautiful, peaceful area that is welcoming and calming. Her energy that she shares and her easy going nature immediately let you know that you are in the right place!! Alisha is passionate about her role in the acupuncture world and helping others!

★★★★★ — Kathy, Mar 2019

I came into the office a sceptic, but after about a year of trying without luck I wanted to try everything before going for more traditional fertility treatments. Within one month, I was pregnant. The office was wonderfully warm and inviting and Alisha was so knowledgeable and calming.

★★★★★ — Gb, Sep 2022

Alisha's expert treatment has been such an asset to my ongoing healing from Long Covid. The energy at her clinic is one of pure healing. She cares deeply about her patients.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
